Reckless Recycling Program

Do you have any gently used or outgrown baseball and softball gear? Clean out those closets and give a deserving kid a chance to play ball! Gloves, bats, balls, cleats...every type of equipment is needed.

NEW FOR 2015: Bring those new or used musical instruments that are gathering dust in your closet to help support Kids in a New Groove! Kids in a New Groove is a nonprofit that provides Texas youth in foster care with a committed one-on-one mentoring relationship through weekly private music instruction, which gives children in care the ability to build concrete strategies for life-long success. After enduring abuse and/or neglect at home, these children are in need of a solution that allows them to leap forward toward success and help them to overcome unavoidable obstacles at an early age. Through the individual support of KING’s music mentorship program, kids are able to develop a relationship with a music teacher, earn their own instruments, and perform on records and at community events such as SXSW.  By supporting KING, you are helping the next generation of youth in care to succeed! To volunteer or donate, visit www.kidsinanewgroove.org

Drop off donations of new or used gear at the event on Sunday, May 31st and get two FREE tickets to a future Round Rock Express game.

Donation bins will be located at each gate; gear will be distributed among several local youth leagues. Please do what you can to help area kids experience the joy of America’s favorite pastime!
